THC Free CBD Oil
The CBD market is constantly evolving, with new brands and new products trying to make a splash. We don’t expect that to stop anytime soon.
The global CBD market is expected to soar over the next 5 years, with North America having the lions’ share of this growth, according to Market Research Future.
There’s a plethora of reasons for the expected growth, which include increasing awareness of cannabidiol extract, increased legalization of CBD for medical and recreations purposes and the easy accessibility to buy CBD online.
We also believe that with proper CBD education and information, the stigma that has been surrounding CBD is finally starting to get busted.
The biggest reserve that people have about trying cannabidiol hemp extract for the first time, is that it is a type of weed or marijuana. That is not entirely false, as both hemp and marijuana come from the Cannabis plant.
The misconception is that CBD has a lot of THC and will get you high. The fact is all of the CBD for sale on The CBD Haven, is derived from the Hemp variety of the Cannabis plant. As per the 2018 Farm Bill which...
“defines hemp as the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of the plant with a delta-9 THC concentration of not more than 0.3 percent by dry weight. This definition is consistent with the definition of “industrial hemp” in the 2014 version bill, which created a limited agricultural pilot program regarding research into industrial hemp.” according to Perkins Coie.
This means any THC found in CBD oil cannot be more than 0.3%. That is a minimal amount and will not get you high. That doesn’t mean you won’t fail a drug test.
Even minute amounts of THC can build up in our bodies, and show up in our blood or urine when tested.
It’s important to remember that the standard drug tests in the market, currently don’t look for CBD, but rather THC.
Which means if you ingest CBD that is THC free, you technically should not fail a drug test.
That brings us to the topic of this blog.
We have some clients asking if there’s such a thing as THC Free CBD Oil? They are looking for cannabis oil THC free, either to ensure they don’t fail a drug test, or because they simply don’t want THC in their system.
Some people can actually have THC induced panic, which means that any traces of CBD can increase their angst levels. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of CBD, and the reason they search for THC free oil.

Where to buy THC free cannabis oil?
After reading this blog, our hope is you have a better understanding of what options are available to you.
What does THC free mean?
Let’s start with some basics. What does THC free mean?
Remember, hemp extracted CBD oil can legally contain up to 0.3% THC. The THC content is actually a part of what defines hemp.
When we talk about THC free oil, we mean that the extract has been processed to remove any traces of THC. It’s important to note here that when a company states their products are THC free, it simply means it was Non-Detectable in third party lab testing.
What it also means that some of those detection measurements are not necessarily 0.000%, so extremely minuscule traces could potentially be there. We’ve seen one company state their THC free products may contain up to 0.005% THC.
That was their measurement capability for THC presence.
Which spectrums are THC free?
Here’s some great news. Of the three major spectrums of cannabidiol extract in the market today, two of them are THC free.
The three spectrum of CBD are:
Full spectrum CBD is the only type of extract that can potentially contain up to 0.3% THC.
Both, broad spectrum and CBD isolate oil are THC free.
If you’re looking for CBD products without THC, make sure you purchase one of those two.
There are a few more differences besides THC content in the spectrums, and if you want to learn more review our Spectrum Differences Blog.
