What does CBD oil feel like?
According to businesswire, North America has emerged as the largest market for organic CBD hemp oil. That is primarily due to the awareness of the potential benefits of CBD hemp oil, triggering an unbelievable increase in the number of users.
That is fantastic news, as CBD is proving to be a natural alternative for people to deal with physical and emotional struggles such as stress, despair, slumber issues, inflammation and discomfort.
All you need to do is google benefits of this somewhat magical hemp extract and you will find an incredible number of reviews, by daily users, who sing its praise.
Just like anything else, CBD works differently in each of our bodies so it is extremely important that you find the right combination that works for you.
This is where it gets a little tricky and will take some time and patience to figure out.
Keep in mind there have been no definitive studies proving the effects of CBD and new research is just being conducted. Even so, that’s not stopping many of all ages trying to see if they can benefit from a little CBD wellness.
With all the positives around this hemp extract, and the number of new users growing daily, we get a lot of questions at The CBD Haven from folks who want to buy CBD online.
As a premier online CBD store, we are happy to help whenever possible.
One of the questions we get the most, especially from new users is What does CBD oil feel like? How does CBD make you feel?
That’s a fair question.
With the market growth expected to reach $20 billion by 2024, there’s a ton of new users who may not know what to expect.
Especially since people are so used to using harsh pharmaceuticals, with long lists of side effects, that can sometimes make you feel different.
We figured we would try our best to cover this topic, especially as the CBD growth is exploding.
The questions we will try to cover, and answer will include:
-
What does CBD oil feel like? How does CBD make you feel?
-
Does CBD make you feel tired?
-
Does CBD help with discomfort?
-
Does CBD show up on drug test?
-
Does CBD oil make you hungry?
-
What are the side effects of CBD?
This is just a brief overview.
We assume the reader has already answered the question, CBD what is it? If not, feel free to check out our informative blog on What is CBD.
What does CBD oil feel like? How does CBD make you feel?
We often get asked what does CBD oil make you feel like, and it’s a very difficult question to answer.
It really depends on what your goals are.
Realistically, CBD does not make you feel like anything. CBD is not psychoactive, and even if you use full spectrum CBD oil which can contain up to 0.3% THC, it should not get you high.
The best way we can describe the feeling, is what one of our clients told us. It gives you absence.
Without realizing it, you may overtime start feeling the absence of angst, despair, deeper and better slumber and even the absence of aches and discomfort.
Without the grogginess, dopey feeling you get from a pharmaceutical pill.
It’s extremely important to note that the feeling and relief is different for everyone. Make sure you know how to use the CBD tincture properly and find the right dosage and spectrum for you to experience the potential full benefits.
Now you know what does CBD feel like.
Does CBD make you feel tired?
It shouldn’t.
In theory, CBD will work with your endocannabinoid system to help improve your capacity of dealing with stress. It will calm your mind and help you relax.
This in turn can help you feel more alert and focus.
However, we all respond differently and some people have reported feeling tired.
Does CBD help with discomfort?
According to the University of Michigan Health Blog…
“While there aren’t any published clinical trials on CBD in pain, Boehnke notes that ongoing preclinical studies in animals have demonstrated that CBD reduces pain and inflammation, and studies of CBD in humans show that it is well-tolerated and has few negative side effects.”
So, it’s best to try it for yourself. For more information on CBD and discomfort, check out our blog on CBD for Discomfort.
Does CBD show up on drug test?
Yes and no.
You will not test positive on a drug test for cannabidiol oil. That is because a drug test doesn’t look for it. Depending on the type of hemp extract, you might consume some THC, and with prolonged use, it might show up on a drug test.
There are currently 3 main types of CBD on the market.
Of those three, only full spectrum CBD oil can contain THC, but in a limited amount. Up to 0.3% THC. The other two types are 100% THC Free.
Make sure however, you purchase a quality brand and product and check the Certificate of Analysis first.
This way you know exactly what you’re getting.
Does CBD oil make you hungry?
While most people associate cannabidiol hemp extract with marijuana, it is anything but that. Marijuana can increase appetite in some, due to the high levels of THC.
CBD is not THC, and does not activate CB1 receptors which are partly responsible for stimulating appetite.
Therefore, in theory it should not make you hungry. Again, each of our bodies respond differently, so it’s best to try it yourself.
We always recommend to keep a diary of how you feel and the side effects. So you can be more objective in the long run.
What are the side effects of CBD?
The hemp extract oil has been shown to be well tolerated by the human body, but as with everything, it can have some side effects. According to WebMD…
“Some reported side effects of cannabidiol include dry mouth, low blood pressure, light headedness, and drowsiness. Signs of liver injury have also been reported in some patients, but this is less common.”
We hope this was beneficial and can help you make a more educated decision on whether or not to incorporate CBD into your daily routine.
